My colleague Michelle Bruno, is co-producing an event with Warwick Davies called EastVirtual It is a one-day workshop, March 21 in Washington, DC on virtual/hybrid events. The promotional material says:
The face-to-face events industry has embraced virtual events of all types. Trade associations and trade show/conference organizers have discovered that virtual events are a critical communication channel that expands the reach of their content and drives live attendance. The challenge is that virtual events require a strategic, integrated approach that involves multiple departments: marketing, sales, education, membership, customer service, and IT. Most event organizations lack the training to move forward with the strategy and tactics necessary to launch a virtual event.
EastVirtual Event Workshop admission is limited to trade association and for-profit exhibition organization staff. Companies that supply consulting services, platforms, and related products may only attend by purchasing a sponsorship.
Michelle says, “I’ve seen the materials they will present and it is mind blowing in terms of the depth of research and their experience in the field. We have presenters from the association, for-profit and agency sectors so that’s its well balanced in perspectives.”
This event will NOT be streamed or captured in any way. So to acquire the knowledge you must be in attendance!
There is a fee for attendance and you can access all the information here. Check out the stellar lineup of speakers for the event on their site.
Knowing Michelle and Warwick, it will be an outstanding event!!
