Guerrilla Marketing & Trade Shows for 2009

by Joyce McKee on November 10, 2009

I just returned from Armand Morin’s Big Seminar in Las Vegas. Three days of learning  about how to navigate the internet correctly.  There is soooo much to absorb and then to implement when you get back.

One of the speakers was Jay Conrad Levinson – the father of Guerrilla Marketing.  There were no PowerPoint slides, it was just a fireside chat with this marketing genius.  He reminded us all we are Guerrilla Marketers.

One of his points is that it is the combination of marketing tools which will get the job done.  And it is up to us to figure out the correct combination.  Trade shows can be one tool in that combination mix he strongly recommends.

Jay’s books have passed the 20 million mark and in 60 + languages!!   For more information on this amazing man go here.  While you are on his site, you will see he applies the lessons we all learned at the Big Seminar.

Jay is a class act, in my opinion.  He was with us for the full 3 days, attending the sessions, available for pictures and videos or a chat.  It has left a lasting  positive impression on me!!  A great role model.
