It is incredible how time flies – it has been one year of blogging for “Let’s Talk Trade Shows”!!
I am taking extra efforts in preparation for next week’s IAEE meeting in Miami – EXPO EXPO. It will be enlightening to hear and see how the industry is reacting to the current economic downturn. In the next few blog posts I will share with you the attitudes and opinions of my peers.
As I talk with business associates I see 3 distinct categories of response to the “recession” economics. One is in total fear – the sky is falling, a second is meeting status quo – they are getting by, and third the “exceptional” group where business is exceeding expectations. I would like to pose a question to all of you and that is where you see yourself with regard to this recession. I know that I am striving to be a part of the third group mentioned above where my business exploding!! How about you?
