Trade Shows + Twitter = Success

by Joyce McKee on May 14, 2009

This is do much fun!!  I am collecting some valuable stories from Exhibitors who are using Twitter in conjunction with their trade show efforts.  Next week I will post the results of these interviews in a form of a report.  So check back to get your copy.

Twitter is changing the marketing landscape.  Now, there are some users who take this tool to the extreme and are constantly sending out marketing messages.  This gets old, quickly.  But I can opt out of their stream of communication.

What I have found, thus far, are incredible resources and knowledge that I would have been clueless about if it had not been for the people I am following.  Therefore, it is worth my time and effort to stay tuned and absorb the tips and knowledge I am directed to via Tweets.

If you have a story about how you have used Twitter at your last show or are using it for an upcoming show - let’s talk!  Contact me - joycemckee (at) letstalktradeshows (dot) com.

PS - Have you noticed the new format?  I will be posting educational content via videos on the site every week.  The first one is - Should You Exhibit?  I have been asked recently by several people about the opportunities a trade show can offer.  So this video starts that discussion.  Let me know if you have any burning questions for future videos.
