Blogs – the Doorway to Social Media

by Joyce McKee on November 19, 2009

Technorati says that there are 900,000 blogs created every day!!  I find that an incredible number.  Now I can not find a statistic which tells me how many of those blogs are abandoned.  I know I have one out there which I am not posting any information on it.

John Jantsch from Duct Tape Marketing talks about blogs being the doorway to social media. And I totally agree with him.  It can be your access point to join the conversation.  You are being talked about – wouldn’t it be smart to lead the conversation?

I think you all know that I blog for 2 of IAEE’s entities – CEIR and The International Center for Exhibitor and Event Marketing.  So blogging is now a part of my DNA.    I have gained an incredible wealth of knowledge on this topic – what to do and  more importantly,  how you can improve your blog presence in the blogosphere.

Soooo, I am going to share my knowledge with you.

If you can, please join me on one or both webinars I am hosting on December 1st and 2nd.  The first one is for the “newbie” and the second one is for an individual or company who has an established blog.  Click on the button above it will direct you to the invitations.

Both webinars will be taped so if there is a schedule conflict, you can have access to the information immediately after wards.  I look forward to sharing all I have learned with you.

To recap, each paid participant will get the recording of the webinar, the Resource Guide and the Tweet Fest Action Plan.
