What Are Your Thoughts On ‘Content Marketing’ - And This Blog?
By Joyce McKee | March 19, 2008
Blogging is becoming such a part of my life now - even though I have been at it only for a few months.
I look forward to communicating my ideas to you.
AND I am amazed to find such wealth of information from other bloggers.
There is one resource I want to introduce you to.
It is Junta 42 (www.junta42.com)
This site is all about the new term – content marketing.
I immediately signed up to receive updates from them on a regular basis.
Joe Pulizzi is passionate about content marketing and it shows.
Here is a quote from one of his blog posts:
Content marketing is not easy because you actually have to listen to your customers and know what their challenges are. You cannot solve your marketing woes through buying advertising space. You must make a connection to your customers, and get new customers, by focusing on their true pain points and healing them with information (okay, a bit over the top, but true none the less). The challenges for all of us in marketing – are we listening to the voices of our customers and can be provide them with "healing information".
This site is about providing relevant content on events and the world of face-to-face marketing.
I want to tune my ears to hear your voice.
Please share with me some of your pain points about trade show marketing and let’s see how we can solve the situation together.
Until next time,
Joyce McKee

Thanks for the kudos Joyce. The more marketers start to look at the information they communicate to their customers as a product, the more successful they will be.
Keep up the great work!
